About Me

Just a bit about Mrs. B

I have been teaching Junior High at St. Rose since 2010.  Before being a Junior High teacher here I taught Art to grades 1-8.  Before THAT I was a St. Rose parent for many years!  All three of our children are products of St. Rose and we couldn't be happier with the education they received in a loving, kind community.

At Sonoma State I earned my BA in Human Development with a focus on adolescent development.  I earned my Masters in Education and teaching credential from University of San Francisco.

Teaching Literature, Social Studies, English, Writing, Art, and Religion to 7th and 8th graders is where I am truly meant to be- these are my people!  I enjoy leading the class through the spontanious times, the hilarity, and the struggles of middle school.  Thanks for entrusting your child to me, I take teaching seriously, and enjoy getting to know the students as individuals with hopes, dreams, strengths and struggles.

Teachers are often asked about their "favorites", here are some of mine:

reading, crafting, cooking, traveling with my family, playing with our 3 pups, drinking coffee, spending time with my parents, our kids, and coming in April -twin grandbabies!
